International Students & OPT

LA LOTUS Foundation welcomes applications from international students with appropriate U.S. work authorization.

Certain internship opportunities may be suitable for students participating in Optional Practical Training (OPT) when the position is directly related to the student's field of study.

Eligibility depends on the individual student's immigration status, academic program, employment authorization and applicable requirements.

Students are responsible for confirming their individual eligibility and reporting requirements with their university's Designated School Official (DSO).

LA LOTUS Foundation does not guarantee that a particular internship will qualify for OPT and does not provide immigration legal advice through the internship application process.
